Another solo visit to the Gasworks today. Opened up a new hole next to last week's and it turned out to be a better spot, even though it's still as sparse as Hell. A beautiful sunny day today, which made it a pleasure to be outside. Plenty of grot saw the light of day, together with a couple of bust codds. Highlight of the day for me was a local chemist bottle for the collection: "R. WILLIAMS/SHOP PENYBWTH/CAERNARVON." A few other take home bits also came out: A nice, crude, green Cantwell's Compass Brand Coffee Essence, a lovely clear glass Boots Cash Chemists perfume, and a green James Buchanan whiskey flask.
