Boxing Day saw another visit to our well hammered site for a spot of hard graft and exercise to work off the results of the previous day's overeating. Stephen couldn't make it today with family committments, but Angus was up for a day out.

It was getting on for lunchtime when we got on site, so it was a shorter than usual session today. On our previous visit we had finally found a good patch of undug, so today we concentrated on this area. We only got down to about five foot depth before it began to get dark, so we had to cut short the digging so that we could fill in. A few nice items came out, including a Hailwoods cream, a ginger, couple of codds, and some other bits. All in all a nice day out for the last dig of the year.
